Mountains Have Elevators
2:46 PM
Sure do - no more climbing 1203294930 steps, now it has elevators - of course - to get there we have to walk 20129 steps and take a bus, then walk the bridges.

Here's Ziang Jia Jia (or however it's spelled) mountains (: dad just fell in love with this place - of course he has to, we took a 5 hour bus ride here yesterday up until 2 am. Then our tour guide gave us 4 key chains with numbers in it - my dad was about to throw it away and it was actually for our lunch - it's really like having lunch in a prison - the food was horrid and the restaurant was underground..

After served with wine I think my delusional dad just felt a little bit photogenic.

So photogenic that when the tour guide asked for a volunteer out of our tour group of who'd want to get married - Dad wants to

Dad's delusional behavior was contagious - because one of the people in our tour group gave a grandpa that seemed to be like 100 years old a cigarette.

It's either walking down the mountain or ride the cable car

We bet on a chicken - I was supposed to win, I'd called for chicken number 4 but dad had to go with #2 - Always pick the chicken that has a red comb on top of his head (;

At night, the tour brought us to a show - it was pretty cool, they use water as the screen and there was a scene though where it looks like a bad version of Thriller - neither scary or fantastic dance moves there :)

Pink Fur Wallpaper
10:10 PM
This time, not only my grandma and dad - but my mom and I come with while visiting another one of dad's business friends - this time, this guy owns a store where they sell shoes leathers and there was loads of them. There were little pieces of the leathers cut to be examples and people could take them - Dad said I could pick 'em and so me and mom did.

There was one of pink fur and remember Alex's from Wizards of Waverly Place pink fur wallpaper and I asked my mom to have it, but mom said fur wallpapers is a dust plaster so I can't have it. And I wanted to take the sample but because it's just one left, I didn't. I took one of a leopard print because it reminded me of Melody

After that we went home and dad took a nap until a driver of yet another one of his business partner picked him up at 4. There was a knock, I was massaging my dad and my mom opened the door to a man asking for "Sakati" - so that's what the Chinese calls my dad.

My mom and I were craving for a Takoyaki and we were debating to go out. My dad was still out so we use her yahoo account to call up my dad but he didn't pick up. I told her we could just leave a note on the apartment door but we went out anyway and found a public phone at a little motel. Dad told us he'd be back late and thank god becase my mom and I thought we were going up to another dinner party and we were waiting for him. So then we ate at this little sushi place - there were little cute taps at each table and shitty waitress.

My grandma got 2 grand package of mooncakes when she got home - that means she'd already score 3 so far and dad went bezerk because te suitcases won't fit - my mom however, is the super-packer. She'd fit the whole thing in the luggage.

Mr. Bean's Oysters
10:38 PM
Woke up, my dad and grandma was bearing food - although it was not that good - it was breakfast. Then of course they went off to meet dad's clients to go to one of their factories. Mom and I spent the whole afternoon going shopping, again - today, she bought like more than a dozen hand bags, and we bought a new luggage because the new stuffs won't fit into our already-packed-luggages.

We walked a 30 minute walk carrying our (heavy) shopping bags to Seven Eleven because Indonesian's doesn't have Slurpee, and guess what - they ran out of Slurpee-s damn so all that walk for nothing. My mom and I got a rice box home (the servant have to accompany us because we can't speak Mandarin and we didn't have to queue) and once we got to the apartment, my legs were killing me. But all that walking is balancing all the food, yep.

My mom and I took a nap and when we woke up there was a scary sound of the wind - they said there's a thypoon in Hongkong and the storm signal is up until 8. But we still had dinner outside despite the wind when my grandma and dad went home.

We ate Mr. Bean Oysters - ew.

Then we got home, not before rounding up to another Seven Eleven and got these:

Disney Land - not
5:10 PM
At 8 am, dad's business partner's driver picked us up and we had breakfast - the hotel had the delicious pinapple bread I had last night and I had that. The driver took us around the town to tourist sightings

and we had lunch then at this restaurant that has a picture of a rat plastered in front of the restaurant's name. No, we didn't eat any rats (or maybe we did but dad said it was meat and I'd have no idea of it until now). The driver ordered 1 kg of shrimp though. Yes, 1 kilograms.

Of Shrimp!

Then he dropped us off at Beijung Lu (Dad: "this is your mom's Disneyland - happiest place on earth"). My mom perked when she realized our hotel was only 2 blocks away from the main Beijing Lu.

Then dad and my grandma (as translator) went off again to meet with another one of my dad's business partners - my mom and I just went off shopping at Beijing Lu and mom bought a Crocs and like, 4 sneakers in 2 hours (even my dad already told us not to go buy anything because our luggages now are as heavy as rocks). She also bought a blue Hermes bag (the one that my aunt had been wanting so much) - for her, she'd wanted to buy another one for my aunt but the store only had one in stock. Dad would have fancy dinners with his clients and mom and I bought KFC take out (:

out there
9:22 PM
This the the second - or the first day that I've arrived here - Macau, again, I'm getting bored of all the casinos and bright lights here - but I'll never get bored of the drag queen strippers and Cirque De Soleil performances (: We got to the Airport and it was raining, my mom just threw up and we crossed the street to our respective beds at the hotel.

At around 11 am, my parents, grandma and I crossed over to Zhuhai (okay, I admit that I don't know how to spell that) and while we were filling out imigration cards, there was another tourist from Indonesia. They were from Medan (my Grandma perked at this) and them with my Grandma and dad were chattering all about our hometown all the way to the queue and those men were also in the shoe business (Dad perked up at this). And then they both exchange business cards with Dad. My grandma told them to look up my uncle (who's built malls and Medan fair) when they got back to Medan.

There was a nice lady helping us find our way where dad's business partner's driver was supposed to pick us up. After 3 hours of drive we arrived at Gao Ming (I also don't know how to spell this) and after a nap and shower, my dad's business partner picked us up again and then we stopped in front of a public high school. There we picked up his translator (which is his son's english teacher) and also taught english at that school.

We went to his parent's factory which is kinda going into the woods and my mom was like "Edward Cullen's house is somewhere in there" psh. My grandma was always the center of the attention - because she's the only one that could speak Chinese fluently. There we were poured tea 24/7 - and it was scroching hot I tell you, my tounge was scalded because I forgot to blow it.

I would drink the tea and then he poured me another glass, and he kept doing that - it was annoying I tell you. Then, I'd stop drinking it and he would dispose the tea and filled it again. I was like, "I was waiting for it to cool you jerk" - Of course I said this in Indonesia, outloud yes, which is great because no one understands.

Then he took us to dinner at some fancy hotel restaurant and I can't eat anything - the food was definetely not disgusting but the english teacher was like, "eat this, this is pigeon" and ECK! and then my grandma said, "here, this is squid, try it, it's delicious" but then the english teacher would be a joy kill and say, "no, no, no, that's a snake" ew. Thank god there was this hot baked breads and it was so tasty, it's crusts are crispy and inside there's melting pinapple in it. The business partner's son was like, "Are you sure your daughter is full, she barely ate anything blablabla" and again I said outloud, "because you're ordering freak foods, jerk" (Indonesian, no one understands of course) and then he said, "Next time we'll bring you to McD, yes?"

As if there will be a next time

And then he really want to bring me to the drive-through - but I was full with the bread, it was good. As soon as I got back to the hotel, I can't open twitter nor facebook; haha TO BE CONTINUED

ice tea

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Okay, I'm posting this from one of the computers at Soekarno Hatta's executive lounge. Lia, my elementary school friend is at the airport too, but I can't see her because she's here to pick up her dad and she's not in the International Departure. I have nothing else to do here than to wait for my plane that leaves for Shanghai that was set to leave at 7, then 10, then now, 12 am - than talking to Pennia, HuiXian, Nabila, Giu and Ghalib at ebuddy (did I mention I hate ebuddy?). I've eaten like everything here, from pasta, chocolate cakes, frozen cream puffs, soups, salads, sandwiches, pancakes and drank some of my grandma's beer. Yes, my grandma drank beer so she could doze off at the plane, but no, not my dad. He has to go all sober because he'll get cranky and he doesn't like beer. Like, who doesn't like beer? Haha

The day started with the history test; which I didn't study for yesterday and did this morning, very quick review at the last week's test but then interrupted because I want to see the pictures at the 'Buka Bersama' last week at the computer. The questions were mostly the same so everyone finished the test quickly - everyone except for Adamas who showed up at 8 and by then everyone was already out from the class and there were just me, cigi, tami, nabol and meutia at the class - finishing reviewing on the photos.

It was like a sleepover, without the pillows and the mattress - but we just laid on the class' floor (even nabol wanted to move to the library since it has carpeting, but i was so lazy to even sit up). We chatted, gossiped (we're girls, not that it's meant to be sexist), took (flashback) pictures, r&r meutia's magazine and new TV-shows and filmed a reality TV-show.

Yes, because we're so cool; we filmed reality TV shows at last days of school (even if the story line's kind of messed up)

It's like, so rad. The video might come up soon - depends, if it's too embarrassing to make it (or too long, it was like 20 minutes of something). It won't make the cut in the uploading room (;

I went home at 11, downloaded iTunes and Skype at my mom's laptop and packed for Shanghai - came to the airport and we can't find the plane's gate and told it was delayed. My dad bonded with some families from the same plane (who's suffering like me as well now, but they chose to suffer outside the lounge, fine). My grandma was like held up at the immigration - like my grand mother - a terrorist? That's not humor, that's just plain security stupidity. If you had to ask, yes of course my grandma was fine - she's not a terorist just because she drinks bottles of beer by herself doesn't mean she is.

So now that I lost my hotel reservations due to the delaying airplane, I get to ramble about the very very fugly girl I was standing behind in the line to get into boarding. She was wearing a tank top and keeps kissing her boyfriend - ew PDA (that's so cute, even more than Nick Jonas, yes sorry). And I have this urge to snap her bra-strap. There's a man bringing this huge surf board and a very weird tanned girlfriend of the surfer-boy's.

I realized something today, that my mother dyed her eyebrows. Am I an awesome observer or what? My dad didn't even know until I mentioned it and my mom confessed that her hairdresser thought it was a good idea. She had highlights two days ago - so her previously red brunette is now redder (like in the sun, it'll look so red like Marcia Cross's) because you can't have reddish brunette with black eyebrows (this seems logical but dying your eyebrows doesn't right?). Then my dad has to gone through all his credit cards and passed it to the clerk to check if we can get to the executive lounge without fee - and that he has so many, he just gave the clerk his wallet and asked her to find if anything there qualifies. I'm beginning to think that my parents are delusional; or is it the holiday air?

Okaaay, I'm done rambling, I think I'm going to head to the buffet table and grab some pasta and the chocolate cake - yes, again. I think I've eaten 5 so far - I'm not really keeping count because it'd be scary.

So far I've:
1. Written a blog
2. Bookmarked my own blog at the airport's computer that I've logged in (; (embarrassing but I'm not hiding anything, I'm far too bored)
3. Tasted everything at the buffet table
4. Tweeted
5. Read every Taylor Swift entry at Perez Hilton

I'll be so fat by the time the plane finally boards that by the time I come back 3 weeks later, you won't recognize me!

I hate Viva Macau
